Solway House is a residential care home situated in Maryport, on the West Cumbrian coast. Set within a grand Victorian building with well-maintained gardens, we provide a warm, comfortable environment for older adults who need a little extra support.

We have 18 beds and provide around-the-clock care, with a dedicated team who work hard to ensure every resident feels safe, well looked after, and truly at home. We also offer respite care for those needing short-term support.

As a family-run home, we take pride in building genuine relationships — with residents, their families, and the wider Maryport community.

Lovely caring staff, nothing is too much trouble. The lounge is comfortable and the conservatory is bright and airy. They encourage independence and the food is home-cooked with good portions and a choice of menu.
